i wrote my first websites in elementary school in notepad and distributed them via floppy disk (long story), started writing react the day of the public release, and was working on generative AI design tooling back when AI was in black & white

i live in the redwoods in northern california and i am never going back inside

in march 2026 i've been:

• exploring the frontiers of agentic engineering and building (so so so many) cozy communal tools for musicians as manzanita research
• writing about technology and identity and the space between at superposition
• letting the agents get witchy and run with it at temple of silicon
• making music as jem sophia
