A Meal Cooked With Love
They say that you can taste when a meal is cooked with love.
The energetic vibrations infused into the process of creation leave an imprint on the harmonic structure of everything they pass through; like standing waves in a lake imprinting themselves on the sandy shore.
In music, real transcendence happens when the artist shifts their consciousness into becoming & transmitting the message of the music. It’s magical, beyond melody, harmony, rhythm & lyric.
These imprints can be indelliby left in the experience: a music-assisted telepathic transference of emotions.
When I feel on as a performer, I bypass the my inner monologue of self-criticism, and even of “thinking about music”. I simply bring my attention to being love, and being present with the offering that my music is humbly trying to be.
I wish I could say the same for how I make digital products. Sometimes I’m present, but often my mind is racing far beyond my screen.
Sometimes I might be bored or frustrated. Other times I might be working on something difficult and feel insecure about my ability to deliver.
We’re biased to only value concrete & trackable metrics, but I believe that even if a project is “successful”, the absence of love can be felt.
I wish to perform music & build products as an act of service.
I want to cook with love in everything I do.
Will you join me?
